Primary/Junior K-6
My science programming is no longer being offered in schools at this time.
I would like to thank all the wonderful staff and students for greatly enhancing a truly amazing teaching experience over these many years!
Warmest regards…

Program Descriptions
Mammals:
Furs, bones and skulls of Canadian fur bearing mammals are showcased. Other props are also used to enrich the learning experiences provided during my presentations. All students are invited to examine and touch all props at the end of each mammal presentation…
Birds:
Avian displays, props and pictures are used as teaching aides. Discover the world of bird banding and bird behaviour. Students participate in the “Build a Bird” activity which promotes problem solving skills and offers insights into avian form and function.
Bees, Wasps, and Hornets:
Four common insect species are showcased (honeybee, bumblebee, yellow jacket wasp and the bald faced hornet). Discover the fascinating and sometimes misunderstood world of these amazing insects. Find out how these pollinators and predators behave quite differently and yet mistakenly they are lumped together and referred to as “Bees”. Displays, bee keeping equipment and other props are used throughout the presentation. A honeybee costume is used to visually highlight the anatomy and behaviour of this insect.
